ISES Sunstone Winery Event

I recently had the pleasure of assisting in the planning of one of our ISES Mixers up at the stunning Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.  Tucked on the edge of the Santa Ynez River, Sunstone's unique location greeted our guests with the delicate fragrance of French lavender and rosemary. Reminiscent of wineries in the Provencal French countryside, the courtyard and architecture created the perfect backdrop for our special event.
Jenna Angelo and Annamarie Kostura from Sunstone Winery were a true pleasure to work with and were so gracious to open up their gates for us.  Thank you ladies!

Omni Catering treated us with a delicious menu as we sipped Sunstone Wines.  The 2012 Viognier was my personal favorite, and yes, I had a few glasses thank you very much!

Sunstone Wineries Cuvee Cave.  A beautiful location for an intimate dinner or cocktail hour!

Upon arrival, guests were offered Lavender Lemonade + Basil Cucumber Lemon Water

Leah Valentine, Kelsey Crews, Jewel Maree , and I "sipping".
What?  We were totally just sipping..and yes, this is one of my Instagram pics, love it!

Outside the Cuvee Cave, was the Fresh Mozzarella Caprese Station!
Fresh Mozzarella was made to order right there and it was deeee-lish!
Layers of Heirloom Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese, Prosciutto, and Eggplant were drizzled with Sunstones very own Blood Orange and Roasted Garlic Olive Oil and Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar dusted with Pink Himalayan and Sea Salt.
I had about 6...no joke.
Andrew, our "Mozzarella Man".
Tenley Erin Young Floral did an amazing job at creating subtle, organic, perfectly fitting floral decor that complimented the winery beautifully.  I really should say it was more of a succulent herb decor - it was perfect!
Another little yummy appetizer making its rounds was the Pork Belly Corndogs with a Firestone Mustard Sauce.

Mason jar desserts to go?!  Umm, Yes please!  I think we all probably had at least one bite of each option.  It was a huge hit and none of us could decide which flavor we liked more.  My personal favorite was the key Lime Pie but it was pretty hard next to the other smashing flavors; Carrot Cake, Strawberry shortcake, Whiskey Chocolate Cake, and  Smore's!

Girls..you are so silly - you too Lani!
Owners, Juan Rodriguez and Sarah Dandona enjoying the sunny warm evening with fellow Omni Catering Staff.
Omni Catering Event Coordinator, Cassie, was great to work with.
Mr. Bijoux even got to come out and play!
And then there is this stunning venue.  I can't wait to do a wedding here!

A big thank you to Town and Country Event Rentals for supplying our lovely Manhattan Lounge.  It was perfect for listening to our talented Mon-e-luv Band!  Playing Covers and Originals that Rock, Mitch Karno (keyboards/vocals/ukulele) and Scott Topper (acoustic guitar/vocals), sang one of my new favorite songs twice, just for me!  I certainly felt the Mon-e-luv!  Mitch and Scott are the new dynamic duo that has hit Santa Barbara and stolen my heart.  I will be hiring them lots this year for a new fresh music vibe for my events.

After our mixer, we got a special tour of the Sunstone Villa.  Stay tuned for a New Venue Spotlight Post of this amazing Villa that you can rent and stay at for your special event!  I'm moving in.  They don't know this yet...but it is happening.
