I love and hate reading Entrepeneur Magazine. I love it because there is never a time that I am not inspired to invent something or quickly download some crazy new App they are talking about. I hate it because soon after my starry eyed gaze comes my frowning brow of anxiety that I am the dumbest person alive and I know nothing about anything. It is sort of like learning about wine. The more you learn, the more you realize you don't know. It is beyond intimidating to read about these self-made millionaire-20-somethings that invented some new gadget that is smarter than I am!
While I was wallowing in my self doubt, I came across an article about a business called Hitch Switch! Josh Gelb and Jake Wolff were two attorneys whose wives struggled to find the resources and time to quickly, accurately, and legally change their names after they wed.
How easy is this...For $25.00, the team at hitchswitch will assemble, process, and mail a fully customized name change packet to any provided U.S. address. When the client receives the forms, all that is left for them to do is sign where hitchswitch has indicated, slip the prepared forms into their pre-stamped and addressed envelopes, and drop them into the nearest mailbox. (An in-person visit to a local DMV is often required, however, upon arrival, all necessary forms will be complete and ready for processing).
Something else they do, that recently has become very dear to my heart, is donate a portion of the proceeds from each hitchswitch transaction to breast and ovarian cancer research. Giving back is an integral part of the culture at hitch switch. Class act gentleman!
So brides out there researching how on earth to start the process of changing your name, check out Hitchswitch.com!

Largest Flower In The World! Bridal Bouquet?
I always get emailed articles from my mother. They usually consist of child rearing do's and don'ts, health, or educational photos or videos that awe my kids and I. But today, my mom sent me this amazing article about the largest flower in the world. I just had to know more!
Growing over 10 feet tall, the "Amorphophallus Titanum" is known as the worlds largest flower!
Here is a photo from the early 1900's in Sumatra Indonesia. This rare bloom grows in large openings in rain forests on limestone hills.
What makes this flower even more amazing is that it only blooms about every 40 years once it has become a mature plant!
Unfortunately, I don't think that there is a bride who would ever consider wrapping this baby's stem in a pretty satin before walking down the aisle. The tip of the flower has a core temperature the same as us humans which helps leak out a very foul smell. It has even been nicknamed the "Corpse Flower". Bummer!
The pollen inside the bloom.
The end of its blooming period.

Daily Inspiration
My friend Paige sent me this photo of this Vertical Garden display for a backdrop from an ad for Cort Event Furnishings. Are you kidding me? A wall garden?! How insanely cool and fun is that?!
We are all beyond addicted to Pinterest these days, and so I began my clicking. A few hours later, I collected these images. I hope that you are inspired as much as I was. I just can't stop!
This is a super cute DIY project that I found on Sunset Magazines website. I think I may make a whole bunch of these and place them all over my house. Not to mention the things that you could do with these for weddings! Art wall behind your bars, ceremony altar backdrop, photo booth backdrop, escort card holders, cake backdrop, you name it!

These colors are just stunning. People don't always know the variety of bright colored succulents!

Daily Inspiration
We had some pretty wild winds the other night. Unfortunately my blooming succulents don't like that and most of the top heavy flowers fell over. The good thing is that I got to put them in this pretty blue vase. It is so amazing that these are both from the same type of plant. I love the contrast. Hope you are inspired!

New Twist On Wedding Photo Booths
We have all seen the different directions there have been with photo booths at weddings; Enclosed Booth, Open Booth, Fabric Backdrop, Props..You name it, it has almost all been done. Until now that is!
I recently came across a couple that have created a photo booth out of an old Vintage Blue Steal Airstream Trailer! Not only does this booth have an adorable inside with plenty of space for larger group photos, but it also has the capability to record video clips from your guests to keep and cherish forever.
The Airstream itself is a 1968 26-foot Overlander Land Yatch which was saved by a man in Arroyo Grande, California. He cleaned it up, including buffing out the outside, and made into a studio/extra room for his son. For Airstream aficionados its not a perfect example of restoration as it lacks many of the original built-ins, but it is extra cool for it’s uses.
They converted the front half into a BlueSteel themed photobooth. The interior features a red photobooth curtain, a white background for great photos and a modern interior brings an instant “wow” factor to any event. The back is a working and living area with a table, closet, and bed.
The BlueSteel Airstream Photobooth was a daydream turned adventure of Shari and Alan Fraser, partners in Sonrisa Photography and Sonrisa Weddings, a Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photography studio. They came up with the idea as they thought about how to be able to travel a bit while they did what they love to do, take pictures.
Thank you Shari and Allen!
Can't wait to have you at one of our Bijoux Events Weddings soon!
